I disagree with large companies actions; they take people’s land, and ruin their lives, they are part of the reasons why terrorist groups are made, they are the reason of this crisis.

Week 5 Parent

Ben, bu hafta pinbordunu hazirladi, kendisini cok yogun ve stresli hissetti, pinbordu bitmeye yaklastikca stresi azaldi ve kendine güveni artti. Pinbordunu bitirdiginde cok mutlu oldu ve cok rahatladi, hazirlarken gördügü gergin rüyalardan ( pinbordu bir türlü bitmiyor, her sey yine karisti ) kurtuldu ve heyecanla exibition gününü beklemeye basladi, artik her seyin iyi gidecegini hissediyordu.

Week 6 parent

Büyük gün geldi, cocuklarin iki aydan beri yaptiklari hazirliklari sunuma hazirdi. Ben son aksam bile yeniden hazirliklarini gözden gecirdi, her seyi dogru yaptigindan emin olmaya calisti. Hazirladigi sunuma cok hakim ve ne yaptigini cok iyi biliyor gibi gözüküyordu ama yine de biraz heyecanliydi.

Sunumlari bizim acimizdan cok basariliydi, bütün cocuklar harika bir is cikarmis ve cok ilginc konularda cok ilginc sunumlar dinledik. Cocuklarin hazirladiklari pinbordlara da powerpoint sunumlarina da, konularini anlatirken bilgi ve özgüvenlerine de hayran oldum. Ögretmenleri, okulu, mentorlari ve tabiki cocuklari kutluyorum ve bu yasta böyle isler cikarmalarina hayranlik duyuyor, gipta ediyorum.

Week 3 Parent

Ben Sinan gecen hafta Exibition icin , hazirligini tamamladi önümüzdekı haftalardakı calısma planını ve neler yapacagını hazırladı. Konuyla ilgili araştırmalarına devam ediyor ve atom enerjisiyle ilgili bilgisini genişletiyor. Bu hafta ön sunum için hazırlıklara başladı, 5.ve 6. sınıf öğretmenlerine email yollayarak sunumu için randevu ayarlamaya çalışıyor. Deney konusunu belirledi ve bunun hazırlıklarına başladı.

Ben has arranged some informational learning experiences. He has managed his time wisely and organized himself!! These are great accomplishments for Ben. He really seems to be showing a great step toward maturity and taking charge of his own learning. Well done, Ben.

Ben hat diese Woche sehr hart für seine Ex. Gearbeitet. Er ist etwas aufgeregt , hat aber trotzdem große Interesse an seine Thema, lernt  jeden Tag neue Sachen dazu und er hat auch die negativen Aspekte von dem Atomkraft erfahren und wird trotzdem versuchen die Atomkraftwerke zu verteidigen weil er glaubt  dass die Welt Nuklearenergie braucht und die positiven Seiten von Atomkraftwerken immer noch zu negativen überwiegen. Ben ist sehr überzeugt, dass Nuklearenergie mit heutigen Technologie sehr sicher ist und kann nicht verstehen warum die Menschen ( auch ich) darüber so negativ denken, er denkt das sind große Vorurteile über Nuklearenergie die vom Unwissenheit kommen.Er ist mit seinen Mentor sehr zufrieden und hat große Spaß mit ihr zu arbeiten, er lernt von ihr auch sehr viel und genießt wie gut sie organisieren kann.

Accepting responsibility- contacting ITU nuclear info office to get a visit appointment

What does your child/mentee need to do next week:-Set appointment with ITU, get date & permission to visit

-Ask Grade 5 teachers for a time to present to their class

-Start thinking about feedback forms or other things needed for your grade 5 presentation

-Write your Personal Essay

-Check back with Ms. Gokmen about online forums for physics discussions (pls note if this should be supervised activity)
